OPINION - Reason why Spurs might have to sell Kane

Turning 30 will give Kane something to think about. He's now entering the final year of his deal with Tottenham and he must decide whether he wants to stay in North London, or whether to leave to give himself the best possible chance of a trophy.

This summer is also the most realistic chance of Kane leaving Tottenham, as Levy can either cash in on him now for a sizeable fee, or face the prospect of losing him on a free transfer - the cardinal sin for a shrewd operator - in the summer of 2023.

REPORT - Sabitzer open to United move becoming permanent

According to Give Me Sport, Sabitzer is open to making his loan move from Bayern permanent in the summer.

The Austrian has previously said that he is happy to wait and see about moving to Old Trafford permanently.

However, journalist Dean Jones has claimed that options for Sabitzer are limited and that he is open to talking to the Reds.

Maguire refutes that he has been 'frozen out'

United's captain has emphasised that he is contiuing to train hard at Carrington and that he has not been frozen out by Ten Hag following the 2-0 victory over Everton.

He explained:

If you ask anyone in the dressing room how well I train, I train hard and competitively in everything I do whether it is a small-sided game or possession, and I always do extras. I will work as hard as I can in training, as I’m sure I’m going to get numerous starts between now and the end of the season. It is not like I’ve not started. I’ve started the last two games before the international break against Fulham and Betis. It is not like I’ve been frozen out or not been involved. I’m still playing a lot of games but obviously as a footballer I want to play every game. But I’m sure sure every other centre-back in the dressing room does as well and the manager cannot play all four.

REPORT - United setting up exchange deal for Chelsea loanee

According to Calciomercato, United are setting up an exchange deal with Juventus for current Chelsea loanee Denis Zakaria.

It is understood that the Reds are willing to send the Serie A club Lindelof and cash for Zakaria.

The midfielder is thought to be a perfect addition to help improve the Reds.

United are considering a summer move for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.

Kokcu continues to earn rave reviews for his performances in the Eredivisie.

Erik ten Hag shares Alejandro Garnacho injury update

Alejandro Garnacho is among those currently on the sidelines with an injury.

Here's what Erik ten Hag said about a possible return for the Argentina starlet;

We have something in our heads, but I don't want [to say publicly]. He will definitely be back before the end of the season. I think he will be in the final stages, but I don't want to bring so much pressure on the medical team and Garnacho to set a date.

United keen on Jeremie Frimpong move - reports

United are reported to be in discussions to sign Jeremie Frimpong this summer.

Frimpong has often been linked with a switch to Old Trafford over recent months.

Reports from Sky Sports Germany argue United have opened up talks over a possible switch for the Bayer Leverkusen player with £45million mooted as a potential fee for his services. Frimpong is thought to be keen on a new challenge.

United will attempt to poach Joao Felix when his Chelsea loan agreement expires.

That's according to reports from Deportivo Mundo amid speculation over his future.

Portugal international Felix, 23, has been heavily linked with United previously.

Iqbal joins agency that represents Erik ten Hag

Zidane Iqbal has joined the same agency that represents Erik ten Hag.

The 19-year-old has teamed up with SEG International, after previously being with CAA Base.

It's understood that part of his decision to join SEG was down to his relationship with Ten Hag.

'Erik ten Hag’s chase of Kane has just been vindicated'

"United rained down a bucketful of efforts on the Everton goal on Saturday, forcing Jordan Pickford into a number of stops. Rashford had two chances of his own while Antony - yet to score a Premier League goal since October - missed a one-on-one opportunity and needed to have done better with another.

"United should have been out of sight by the break and Kane would have ensured that the three points were in the bag before Ten Hag gave his half-time team talk. Looking at the England captain’s conversion rate this season shows why the United boss is so keen on him.

When United's game in hand could be played

United are yet to have a date for their rescheduled Premier League match with Chelsea.

The meeting was originally scheduled for April 22 but United's FA Cup semi-final with Brighton a day later caused it be postponed.

The club's progression in cup competitions this season has left very little room for the Old Trafford clash to be re-arranged.

Casemiro at risk of suspension vs Sevilla

A Manchester United duo are walking a discipliniary tightrope in Thursday's Europa League first leg clash with Sevilla.

Uefa rules state that three yellow cards constitutes a one-match suspension, although these get wiped at the quarter-fina stage.

Casemiro, who has just returned from a four-match domestic suspension, is one of the United players at risk.

Rashford sends first message since injury scare vs Everton

Marcus Rashford has broken his silence since hobbling off with a groin injury against Everton on Saturday.

The 28-goal striker was forced off in the latter stages of the match after pulling up when chasing a ball.

Erik ten Hag said post-match that he did not know the extent of the issue but admitted it "does not look well."

'Fernandes has provided Manchester United with a new solution'

"Fernandes is one of the best players at United and is certainly the best talker in the squad. He conducts himself so thoughtfully when he arrived for media obligations for the League Cup final he shook hands with journalists waiting to interview another teammate.

"In the Old Trafford tunnel after the semi-final stroll against Nottingham Forest, John Murtough and Richard Arnold both paused to congratulate Fernandes. Both were in awe of United's de facto captain with a mentality Ten Hag was always bound to embrace. Ten Hag and Fernandes are kindred spirits.

A recent report has claimed that United are chasing Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga.

The 20-year-old has scored nine goals and tallied four assists in 30 games during his first full senior season.

The youngster is able to play in a variety of positions, incluidng centre-forward.

Casemiro returns

Casemiro is now available for the next Premier League game after serving his four-match ban for his red card against Southampton last month.

He would have been available for Thursday's Europa League clash with Sevilla regardless with domestic suspensions not applying in European competitions.

But the Brazilian will be able to feature against Nottingham Forest on Sunday having missed wins over Fulham (in the FA Cup, Brentford and Eveton as well as the loss to Newcastle.

United get Harry Kane boost

Bayern Munich may be reluctant to enter a race for United top target Harry Kane this summer.

The striker is top of Erik ten Hag's transfer wish list and are considered frontrunners for the attacker with Bayern supposedly being the only real competition.

However, the German club’s chief financial chief Dr Michael Diederich recently said (as per the Mirror): “I don’t rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer? We have to keep an eye on our profitability.”

Why Tottenham might be forced to sell Kane to United

"Since Tottenham moved into their new stadium, they have spent a season competing in the Europa League and a season in the Europa Conference League, which has been detrimental to their budget in the transfer market.

"In that period, their most prized asset, Harry Kane, attempted to leave the club when indicating his preference to join Manchester City in 2021 and the player's frustration over the club's failure to challenge for major honours has only increased with time.

"Tottenham have made progress with Levy at the helm but they're still a joke to some of their Premier League rivals. Their lack of silverware is indicative of the mentality within and there is a feeling Kane will want silverware before he retires."

Amad has revealed his target for next season as he vies to earn a spot in Erik ten Hag's Manchester United plans.

The 20-year-old is currently out on loan at Sunderland and has scored 11 goals in 34 outings.

United told Amrabat availability

United had the door shut in their face when they approached Fiorentina regarding a loan deal for Soyfan Amrabat in January.

The Morocco World Cup star was a consideration for Erik ten Hag prior to landing Marcel Sabitzer amid Christian Eriksen's long-term injury, which returned from on Saturday.

Now, speaking to Kora Plus, Amrabat's agent says Fiorentina will be willing to listen to offers this summer.

He said: "For now we don't have any offer for the summer, but now at least Fiorentina is willing to listen. A promise they made when the president rejected all the offers in winter.

"We received many offers during the January transfer window, including one from Manchester United, but an agreement cannot be reached."

'Erik ten Hag can deploy formidable new midfield partnership'

"Eriksen's return could not have come at a better time for Erik ten Hag. His side have done well to bounce back from the Newcastle defeat with wins against Brentford and Everton but the fixtures are only going to get tougher from here.

"With United still competing on three different fronts and playing twice a week for a month at least, they need all the bodies they can get.

"Which makes it even better that Casemiro is back too. Though the fear of him picking up yet another suspension can't be escaped, it's certainly exciting to have the Brazilian available again after a four-match domestic ban."

United 'line up Frimpong alternative'

Erik ten Hag will reportedly set his sights on Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard (below) if a deal for Jeremie Frimpong cannot be secured.

United are reportedly leading the race for the Bayer Leverkusen right-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially being the shown the door upon his arrival.

This is according to Football Insider, which adds that Leverkusen wil hold out for between £40m-£50m for their man.
